Sample Conditioning is a tremendously important consideration when
using extractive analyzers. The sample gas that enters the analyzer
must be representative of the gas
in the pipeline. Components in the sample conditioning line can affect readings if
they are not specified or installed correctly. For example, Glysorb filters can collect
moisture and later release it into the sample gas and tubing made from the wrong
materials can allow moisture into the sample gas.
